Established in 1840, Thomas Ware remains the biggest of the traditional leather tanneries. Best known in the shoe trade they supply quality sole leather including all bottom stock leathers to the shoe manufacturing and repair markets; equestrian leather including bridle, stirrup, saddle and harness butts as well as saddle strap leathers; industrial leathers including industrial belting and friction leathers; quality leather goods including wallets, belts and briefcases; and speciality leathers including flooring, cricket balls and dog leads.
